Since 1988 Rotary Foundation has been slowly ridding the world of the Polio virus. The continent of Africa was declared Polio Free in June 2020 by the World Health Organisation, leaving a small area of Pakistan and Afghanistan where a few cases remain. We cannot give up now.
Rotary MK will celebrate World Polio Day on October 24th 2020 by planting 4000 purple crocuses in areas around Milton Keynes, including the front entrance of Milton Keynes’ prestigious university hospital.
